RESUBMISSIONS

We know that writers are always writing; making improvements and taking their stories in new directions.

If you have already entered one of our contests you can choose to enter a more recent draft in one of two ways. Firstly, let’s talk about RESUBMISSIONS. Resubmissions must be made by the Final Deadline of a contest.

To make a Resubmission, simply enter the contest as normal from the contest links below, and if selecting a standard submission, i.e. without coverage, you can use the coupon code issued in your original submission acknowledgment email to obtain a 70% discount on the entry price.

A Resubmission guarantees the new draft of your script will be read in the first round of the contest, and any additional coverage requested will be fulfilled. If both drafts come to be in consideration for progression to the next round, the draft with the higher score will proceed.

Another way to update your submission is to UPDATE your script on Coverfly. Updating your script is a standard Coverfly feature, for which a small charge is made and you can make an Update at any time by logging into Coverfly.

However, if your original draft has already been read, you will see a notice on Coverfly that you have received all of your reads for that round, and your Updated script will only be read if your original submission proceeds to the next round.

You can still choose to submit your Update to the contest or wait to see if you advance to the next round. You can also order additional coverage this way too. However, additional coverage ordered after your original submission has been read will only be fulfilled if your original submission proceeds to the next round.
