Having your screenplay produced, and gaining that credit, is instrumental in the building of your career. It will help to create interest in you and your work from managers, agents and production companies. Going to festivals and meeting like-minded people will allow you to naturally build connections that will help pave the way for your future success.

Short films have started the careers of most of our favorite filmmakers in the world. You can see below how it has started the careers of many of those who have won our film fund. Also, listen to our Short Film Fund Manager share more about the opportunity on the podcast Just Click Submit.
