Our Feature Contest is geared towards screenwriters looking to gain representation with a manager or agent, sell their screenplay, and get hired on writing assignments.
This contest has a proven track record of helping emerging writers achieve their goals of becoming full-time working screenwriters. Writers through our Feature contest have gained representation, and gone on to write for Blumhouse, Netflix, Paramount, Film4, NBC, Hulu, & many others.
Shore attached EMMY Winning director Ben Tricklebank to Jonny’s feature-winning screenplay, LAND’S END. Starcross Entertainment are now onboard to produce the feature film.
Shore set up Jacob’s winning feature script with roster judge, director Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry, Terminator Genisys). “I have such a long list of great things to say about Shore Scripts and the wonderful people that run this competition. I’m just so grateful for the introduction to Patrick, and can’t wait to see what happens next with my script.” Following his win, Jacob is now repped by Andrew Wilson at Wonder Street Entertainment.
Their feature-winning script THE ASSESSOR has been picked up by Shore Judge, Oscar Nom Producer Stephen Woolley who is developing the project alongside FILM4.

Shore was involved in setting up Louis Ackerman’s feature script, Flesh & Blood, with industry roster company, Blumhouse. The film was produced and released on HULU in 2019. We also set Louis up with a talent agent Dench Arnold in the UK and a manager in the US.

Alice was a second-placed Feature Winner. She had offers of representation from two Agents and Managers on our Industry Roster. She has since gone on to direct the NETFLIX show SEX EDUCATION.

Beth was our Feature Winners. We introduced her to a number of managers, one of which was Elevate Ent who she has now signed with. Her winning feature, Moonflower, has been picked up by Oscar Nominated producer, Todd Black.

Melody’s script THE SOUND OF DARKNESS was shortlisted in our Feature Contest. In 2021, she completed the 2021 Sundance Episodic Lab and has been selected for an Adobe Women at Sundance Fellowship. She’s gone on to write TV episodes for TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES, and LAW AND ORDER: SVU. Melody has been tapped by Netflix to adapt the new novel BEASTS OF PREY. She is represented by CAA.

Patrick worked as Wes Craven’s editor, editing the SCREAM franchise, HALLOWEEN H20, CURSED & RED EYE before moving into directing with MY BLOODY VALENTINE, DRIVE ANGRY with Nicolas Cage and Amber Heard, and 2018’s FLESH & BLOOD, written by our Alumni Louis Ackerman. He was also the writer of 2015’s TERMINATOR GENISYS.
Growing up in Boston and Dallas, Alayna always had an interest in entertainment and she transferred to the University of Southern California in 2014 from a small college in Boston to live in the heart of the industry. After graduating with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Culture, Media, & Entertainment in 2017, Alayna began her first job in the industry as an assistant at Paradigm Talent Agency. In 2018, Alayna began working for the President of Atomic Monster Michael Clear, and was promoted to coordinator in 2020.
Mitchell Altieri is a Brazilian American award-winner who has showcased his films at premier festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, and Fantasia. As part of the writing duo, The Butcher Brothers, he wrote and directed THE HAMILTONS (Lionsgate), APRIL FOOLS DAY (Sony), and THE VIOLENT KIND (Sundance). His latest film, STAR LIGHT, is a homage to 90s teenage horror.
Irene won an Emmy for her role as EP on the Nickelodeon series, MIKE THE KNIGHT and has been creating and producing Kids and Family content for over 20 years. As Head of Studio for Nelvana Animation Studio in Toronto, Irene managed one of the busiest animation studios in the world and Executive Produced dozens of series including HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA and the Nickelodeon series LITTLE CHARMERS.
Mark is a seasoned independent producer. He is a specialist in film and television finance, production, and distribution having recently executive produced and produced multi-award-winning films including HOTEL MUMBAI (2018), THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY (2015), DAMASCUS COVER (2017), JUICY GIRL (2020) and MISPLACED (2021). With over twenty-five years experience in the industry, Mark’s global network is extensive.
An Actress best known for her roles in the movies: THE LOVELY BONES directed by Peter Jackson, STICK IT costarring alongside Jeff Bridges. You can see her on TV shows like THE RESIDENT, HEATHERS, SPEECHLESS, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, and others.
Antony is a New York Times bestselling author and screenwriter. ATOMIC BLONDE, starring Charlize Theron, was based on his graphic novel and screenplay. He also writes videogames such as RESIDENT EVIL, DEAD SPACE and BINARY DOMAIN.
