2024 ½-Hour TV Pilot Mentor – Henry Bergstein CSA

 

 

Before returning to independent casting and producing in 2023, Henry Russell Bergstein was Vice President of Casting for HBO Max.

 

Before that, he worked as an independent casting director on film, television, and theater out of New York at his company, Estrin/Bergstein Casting with partner Allison Estrin, and before that at Douglas Aibel Casting.

 

In television, Henry received an Emmy nomination for casting the pilot and first season of HBO’s Succession and for casting Netflix’s limited series Inventing Anna.

 

Henry’s other credits include HBO Max’s The Other Two, Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle, Showtime’s The Loudest Voice, USA Network’s The Sinner, Hulu’s Monsterland, the US Casting of Black Mirror, and the pilot of Ramy.

 

In films, he has created the casting for Black Bear (Sundance ’20), The Kindergarten Teacher (Sundance ’18), Almost Love (Frameline ’19), It Felt Like Love (Sundance ’13) Grandma (Sundance ’15), The Day Shall Come (SXSW ’19), and Love After Love (Tribeca ’17).
