Laura Rosenthal is an award-winning casting director who for the past 25 years has collaborated with renowned film directors and visual artists including Todd Haynes, Lisa Cholodenko, Paolo Sorrentino, Oren Moverman, Kelly Reichardt, Karyn Kusama, Mike Mills, Woody Allen, Jim Jarmusch, Joachim Trier, Nora Ephron, Doug Aitken, and Francesco Vezzoli.


Laura has won Emmy Awards for Olive Kitteridge and Mildred Pierce, and she was the inaugural recipient of The Independent Spirit Robert Altman Award for Todd Haynes’ I’m Not There.


Other credits include, The Kids Are All Right, Carol, 20th Century Women, This Must Be The Place, The Messenger, Chicago, Jesus’ Son, Analyze This, and Far From Heaven.


More recently, Laura worked on Todd Haynes’ Academy Award-nominated May December, Bottoms, Dark Waters, Sundance 2019 hits, Brittany Runs A Marathon and Late Night, John Krasinski’s horror hit A Quiet Place, and Unbelievable for Netflix.
